A Tiny Home In Thailand

In every moment that unfolds, among the many choices in life, I choose to set foot in various places, allowing me to understand the importance of having an open and broad-minded perspective. I hope this feeling of happiness continues to lead me toward more opportunities to visit other beautiful destinations.

This place is located in Trang- Tha Phaya, Thailand. We managed to get to this place by local bus and when we arrived at the bus terminal we were happily picked up by the owner of the house.

In this little home, I’ve discovered a new kind of atmosphere. I enjoy spending time with my partner—shopping, cooking, watching Studio Ghibli films, looking sunsets, sharing stories, and planning ideas for writing about our journey.

It feels as though I have a home wherever I choose to stay, a sentiment that often goes unnoticed by many, as a home is typically seen as something stationary. But behind every door we inhabit, there are inspiring stories that stir the soul and touch the heart.

Meeting new people and witnessing diverse ways of life is one of the reasons I’m drawn to travel the world. Experiencing the history and culture of different countries directly is something that must be tried. Through broad perspectives, we create freedom in life—this is how we romanticize our own existence.

I am glad to know Cherry, I feel like I have a friend here, she made me comfortable in this tiny house and gave me an impression during my stay in Thailand such as inviting us to visit temples and participate in the tradition of respect such as the tradition of giving rice to Buddhist monks. Where monks swim to receive food in their bowls as a form of donation from Buddhists. This tradition is believed to strengthen the bond between monks and Buddhists and provide an opportunity to do good deeds and support the religious life of the monks.

We visited Thailand in March-April and it is generally the dry season in Thailand, but it did not dampen my enthusiasm to travel and gain more experience here, a freer way of life is evident here, mutual respect and tolerance, besides nature and interesting places, Thai people are also one of the reasons I like this country.

I also visited a place where there were many flowers here that looked like “sakura blossoms” because they were light pink, so beautiful to see this during the day

While I was in the village of Thailand, I interacted with some local residents, they were very friendly and appreciated newcomers like me. We had a direct opportunity to see agricultural activities that are still the main livelihood for most of the residents here. A grandmother invited us to go around the durian garden that Cherry had, inhaling the aroma of the durian tree flowers that would grow into delicious durian fruit, so enjoyable

If you visit Thailand, don’t forget to try this public transportation.
Tuk-tuk is one of the most popular forms of transportation in Thailand and several other countries in Southeast Asia. It is a type of motor tricycle with an open roof and passenger seats at the back like the one in the picture, very cool and unique!

Not enough here, I will tell you about my experience to the beach which is usually the main destination for tourists to visit this country

When we arrived at the beach that afternoon, the sea water was receding, so the beach water looked far from the eye because the coastline moved much further to the middle. While walking along the beach, I found various cute sea animals, such as jelly fish, small crabs, and shells of other sea animals

The beauty of the beach in low tide conditions has displayed an interesting phenomenon that I rarely see. This low tide situation is like a natural stage that reveals underwater life directly. I am very happy with this opportunity, enjoying a picnic to enjoy the cool beach air, we not forgetting to meditate and watch the sunset

Thank you Thailand, there are many beautiful stories that I got here. Although I like Thailand, it doesn’t mean that I will stop my steps as a traveler just until here, I can’t wait to visit other countries with Martin. Memories of golden temples, bustling night markets, and the smiling faces of Thai people will always be remembered. However, when I say goodbye to this enchanting place, I miss the comfort of a simple home. To Thailand, I want to say thank you for the experience given. And for the next country, hopefully I will find many good things on the next trip, I am sure because there are many impressions of love that I found with the man who is always with me now <3
